KLIK!

Together with some of the most talented artists based in the Netherlands, we created the leader for the 10th edition of KLIK! Amsterdam Animation Festival. To honor the festival’s theme ‘Never Grow Up’, a nostalgic homage was produced to show how all the different animation classics still have an impact on our lives. This resulted in a big animated trip down memory lane – from Steamboat Willie to Transformers, The Powerpuff Girls, The Lion King and many more!

Animation styles

KLIK!’s mascotte Klikbert takes us through the history of animation showing us different styles and techniques. In collaboration with KLOMP! Animation, Studio plumeau, Elephant Ears, Kasper Werther, Hilde Buiter and Kabo Lam, we wanted to cover all the necessary techniques. Going from frame by frame animation and cut-out to stop-motion and 3D animation – just to name a few. Our part of this whole film is the crazy scene of Finding Nemo.
